QuickBooks only accepts transactions in specific shapes, and hand-built CSVs are the usual source of rejected imports and duplicated rows. Two import routes
The 4-column CSV (Date, Description, Debit, Credit) imports into QuickBooks Online, and the .qbo Web Connect file loads into QuickBooks Desktop as a bank feed.
Re-imports never duplicate
Every transaction carries a stable ID derived from the statement itself, so importing the same statement twice matches existing rows instead of creating duplicates.
Verified before it reaches your books
Each row is checked against the statement's running balance first. Anything that doesn't reconcile is flagged for review in the editor, not imported wrong.
