Terms of Service

The service

ParseBank converts bank and card statements (PDFs and images) into structured data formats such as Excel, CSV, and JSON. Guests may convert up to 5 pages per day; account holders receive a monthly free allowance or the pages included in their paid plan.

Acceptable use

• Only upload documents you are authorized to process.
• Do not use the service for fraud, forgery, or misrepresentation of financial records.
• Do not attempt to circumvent usage limits, probe the service's security, or resell access without an agreement.

Accuracy

Extraction is verified against the running balance printed on your statement, and rows that fail verification are flagged for your review. Conversion is nonetheless automated: you are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it for accounting, legal, or regulatory purposes. The service is provided “as is” without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.

Plans and billing

Paid plans renew monthly through Stripe and grant a monthly page allowance as credits. Credits from a failed conversion are refunded automatically. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; your plan remains active until the end of the paid period. Unused pages do not roll over.

Data

Data handling is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: originals deleted immediately after processing, extracted data retained per your settings, no training on your data.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
